Today, I'm excited to introduce a plant-friendly space that blends perfectly with plants.
Lately, many people have been interested in "plant interior," right?
A great space can feel like it's missing just 2%, but when you add a plant, it suddenly feels complete—like it’s 100%.
That’s how much of an impact plants can have on a space.

This home I’m introducing today is spacious enough to freely arrange plants without any restrictions on their size or number. It was designed with bold placements of plants.

오늘은 식물과 정말 잘 어울리는, 식물 친화적인 공간을 소개해보려고 해요.
요즘 플랜테리어에 관심 많으신 분들 많잖아요.
멋진 공간도 식물 하나 더해지면 마치 2% 부족했던 게 100%가 되는 느낌이 들곤 해요.
그만큼 식물은 공간에 큰 영향을 주는 요소예요.

오늘 소개할 이 집은 공간이 무척 넉넉해서, 식물의 크기나 개수에 제약 없이 과감하게 배치할 수 있었답니다.

| Living room 거실

In the living room, we installed large windows to allow plenty of sunlight to pour in.
Thanks to the natural light, which is essential for growing plants, the space feels even brighter and more open.
거실에는 넓은 창을 내어 햇빛이 가득 들어올 수 있도록 했어요.
식물을 키우는 데 꼭 필요한 채광 덕분에 공간도 한층 밝고 탁 트여 보인답니다.

With large windows and high ceilings, placing small furniture or plants could actually make the space feel empty and cramped.

Tip! Try placing artwork or plants higher up to draw the eye upward.
This will make the space feel much larger and more abundant.

창이 크고 층고도 높다 보니, 너무 작은 가구나 식물을 두면 오히려 공간이 휑하고 작아 보일 수 있어요.

Tip! 높은 층고를 살려 액자나 식물을 시선을 위로 끌어올리는 위치에 배치해보세요.
공간이 훨씬 넓고 풍성하게 느껴질 거예요.

A ceiling fan was installed to ensure proper ventilation for the plants.
The wood color was chosen to complement the sofa, chairs, and plants, creating a cohesive and natural atmosphere throughout the space.

천장에는 실링팬을 달아 식물들의 통풍에도 신경 썼어요.
우드 컬러를 선택해 소파, 의자, 식물들과도 잘 어우러지도록 했고,
공간 전체에 자연스럽고 통일감 있는 분위기를 연출했답니다.

The spacious bedroom was designed with a focus on creating a cozy atmosphere.
If the sleeping space feels too empty, it can become unfamiliar and uncomfortable at night.
By incorporating various fabric materials like sheer curtains, a fabric sofa, and rugs, I created a warm and inviting ambiance.
The mini sofa placed in one corner of the room was chosen in a khaki color to harmonize with the plants, adding a natural balance to the space.

넓은 침실은 오히려 아늑하게 느껴지도록 꾸미는 데 초점을 맞췄어요.
취침 공간이 너무 휑하면 밤에 오히려 낯설고 불편할 수 있으니까요.
시스루 커튼, 패브릭 소파, 러그 등 다양한 패브릭 소재를 적극 활용해 포근한 분위기를 연출했어요.
침실 #1과 #2는 한쪽에 놓인 미니 소파는 식물들과 어울리는 카키 컬러로 선택해, 공간에 자연스러운 조화를 더했답니다.

| Dinning 다이닝

The focal point of the dining area is definitely the pendant lighting.
With a shape similar to the living room coffee table, it adds a natural sense of unity to the space.
Taking advantage of the spacious layout, I placed five chairs instead of the usual four.
The difference of just one chair makes a noticeable impact on the overall impression!

다이닝 공간의 포인트는 단연 팬던트 조명이에요.
거실 커피 테이블과 비슷한 형태로, 공간에 자연스러운 통일감을 더해줘요.
넉넉한 공간을 살려 일반적인 네 개 대신 다섯 개의 의자를 배치했는데,
의자 하나 차이지만 주는 인상이 확실히 다르답니다!

From the dining area, you can enjoy the view of the plants in the greenhouse, making the space even more captivating.
By placing plants in every line of sight, the unique atmosphere and personality of the home are enhanced.

다이닝 공간이에요.
온실 속 식물들을 바라보며 식사를 할 수 있어 더욱 매력적인 공간이에요.
군데군데 식물을 배치해, 이 집만의 분위기와 개성을 한층 더 살렸답니다.

Next to the table, there’s a large window that lets in plenty of sunlight, allowing both the plants and people to soak up the vibrant energy together.

테이블 옆으로는 시원하게 창이 나 있어, 식물도 사람도 햇살 가득한 에너지를 함께 받을 수 있도록 구성했어요.

| Greenhouse 온실

The greenhouse, placed at the heart of the space, is finished with artificial grass carpeting, adding a special atmosphere unique to plants. 🌿
Inside, there’s a small table where you can enjoy a coffee, making it the perfect spot to relax with a cup of tea on a lazy afternoon.

공간 한가운데 자리한 온실은 인조 잔디 카페트로 마감해, 식물만의 특별한 분위기를 더했어요. 🌿
안쪽에는 커피를 즐길 수 있는 작은 테이블도 마련되어 있어, 나른한 오후에 차 한잔 하며 쉬어가기 딱 좋은 공간이에요.
